How do I return an item?

Product Return Policy

We are committed to serving the needs of our customers. As your satisfaction is extremely important to us, please first carefully review the below outlined information, and then contact our Customer Service Department based on these instructions so that we may promptly address your needs.

Aloha Green Depot warrants only to the original purchaser of this product from an Aloha Green Depot authorized supplier or distributor that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by:
1) modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by any persons or company other than Aloha Green Depot's authorized suppliers;
2) physical abuse to, or misuse of the product or operation thereof in a manner inconsistent with the use indicated in the instructions;
3) any use of the product other than that for which it was intended; or
4) shipment of the product to Aloha Green Depot's authorized suppliers for service.

Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which other than the warranty contained herein that might arise by inference or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed including the implied warranties of merchantability and of the fitness for a particular purpose.

After 30 days, products cannot be returned for a refund. Replacement or repair of product, therefore, is your exclusive remedy under this warranty.

Subject to the above warranty, in the event that your Aloha Green Depot product fails to operate satisfactorily, please simply follow these 3 easy steps:

1. Email our Customer Service Department at Support@AlohaGreenDepot.com in order to receive an approved, Return Authorization Number (RAN#). Please label your email subject line, "Request for Return Authorization Number." In the body of your email, please include your (a) full contact information, including your first and last name and/or company name, (b) order number,(c) purchase date, (d) telephone, (e) fax, (f) email address, (g) shipping address and (h) the reason for the return, providing a detailed explanation of the difficulty you are experiencing with the device and/or any of its components. All of these information entries are required for processing your request.

2. Within 48 hours of our receipt of your email, our Customer Service Department will review the information you have provided, and email you back with a Return Authorization Number (RAN#).

Please do not send any product to us unless and until you have received your RAN#. Once you have received your RAN#, please securely package your starter kit and/or components, and include within your package a copy of the email from our Customer Service Department indicating your RAN#. Mail any product returns to the authorized suppliers address noted in your RMA email.

3. Once our Customer Service Department has received notice that your product has been received, we will then send you a confirmation email indicating our receipt of same, and our email to you will include an estimated time of delivery of your replacement or repair Aloha Green Depot product and/or components.

Please note that only packages with all contents are entitled to a refund, less shipping and 20% restocking fees incurred, provided that a request for refund is made to our Customer Service Department, along with shipment of product to the above indicated address within 30 days from your purchase date. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping

Most shipping is calculated automatically by the shopping cart calculator. Aloha Green Depot's main focus is to bring the very best eco-friendly, energy savings products to our customers at the lowest freight costs available to us. We source our products globally, therefore large and heavy products require a freight quote to assure our customers receive the lowest price. Shipping prices depend on the product weight and the shipping location.

AlohaGreenDepot.com's Electric Scooter shipping policy is as follows:

  1. Electric Scooter(s) are shipped using FedEx to the cargo facility in LA where they are booked with a freight forwarder to the final Hawaiian freight facility nearest to the customers shipping address.
  2. Electric Scooter(s) will be delivered to Will Call at the closest freight facility to be picked up by the customer.
  3. All freight charges from LA to customers destination port will be the customers responsibility.
  4. AlohaGreenDepot.com will notify customer of tracking numbers from both FedEx and the freight carrier when the Electric Scooter(s) ships from our supplier.
  5. Tracking of shipment after FedEx delivers to the freight forwarder is the customers responsibility.
  6. Missing or damage claims against the freight forwarder are the responsibility of the customer.

Estimated cost:

To ship an Electric Scooter from the port in L.A. to the freight facility nearest the customers address for pick by the customer currently ranges from $135 to $155 as of 06/17/2012. Due to the nature of changing fuel costs and freight forwarder fees, AlohaGreenDepot.com has no control or authority to change or alter the price of shipping determined at the time of booking the freight.

(Additional charges will occur if the customer requires home delivery by the freight forwarder. These arrangements would need to be made between the customer and the freight forwarder.)

SAILING SCHEDULE

Shipments to Hawaii
Our freight forwarder provides service between the ports of LA and all points in Hawaii.

There are two sailings per week to Hawaii as outlined below. Transit time is generally five days to Honolulu and an additional two to four days to the outer islands.
